Clinical   training  is an  important  component  of the  syllabus  prescribed  for  the  B.Sc nursing course. All the students are required to uindergo clinical training of approximately 6-9 months in an academic year. Such clinical training helps the students to gain clinical skills when they will be on the  job after  the  course. • The  Department  of  training  and  placement  (T&P)  conducts  programs  that   offer  various 

  services  to meet the professional  development  needs  of students. The department  partners            

  with students in the process of career management. This starts with self-assessment and leads

  to identifying a career that meets individual goals.

•The  Department  generates  global  awareness  about  corporate  Hospitals  and career  trends         among  the students  by organizing  company  visits , informal and formal discussions, and guest lectures.

•   Scope  of  Nursing practice  encompasses  provision  of Promotive , Preventive , Curative  and       Rehabilitative  aspect  of  care to  people  across  their  life  span  in  wide v ariety  of  health  care settings . Practice of Nursing  is based  upon application of basic concepts and principles derived from the Physiological, Biological and Behavioral Sciences, Medicine & Nursing.

•  This programme provides a solid foundation for continuing professional development and for    postgraduate  study of  Nursing , which can pave way  to achieve M.Phil (N) & Doctoral Degree in Nursing & Post Doctoral Fellowships.
